Quakerism is a 400 year old Christian oriented Faith that has a deep history of standing for Social Justice and Human Rights. For example, Quakers played essential roles in the Women’s suffragette movement, the movement to abolish the American slave trade and objection to the human and dollar costs of endless militarism and war. Though grounded in Peace and non violence Quakers are far from “passive”. Quakers have long understood the power of non violence and the value of every human being.

Quaker Communities are led by what are referred to as “The Spices”. Simplicity.  Peace. Integrity. Community. Equality and Stewardship. This disposition calls each of us at to stand and bear witness actively in the protection of our fellow humans. Now is the time. We are grounded in Peace and non violence but make no mistake – we will not be silent.
